Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

At Verity The Label, each piece is created intentionally — produced in small runs or made-to-order to reduce waste and honour ethical production. Because of this considered process, certain limitations apply to returns.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded by this policy. You are entitled to a replacement, refund or repair for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

GENERAL RETURNS POLICY

Fine Art & Home Décor

All fine art prints and home décor pieces are made-to-order.

For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law in the case of faulty goods.


Full Price Apparel (excluding accessories)

While we do not offer refunds for change of mind, we understand that sometimes sizing may not be quite right.

For full price apparel, we are pleased to offer:

• An exchange for a different size (subject to availability), or
• Store credit

To be eligible, items must be returned in new condition (unworn, unwashed and undamaged).

Please note:

• Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.

This policy does not override your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Reduced / Sale Apparel

All reduced or sale apparel is final sale.

Due to clearance pricing and limited stock, we are unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit on sale items unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law. 


BEFORE REQUESTING AN EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT

Please ensure:

• Proof of purchase is provided (order number and email address used at checkout).
• Item(s) are returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
• Items are returned in original condition.
• The customer is responsible for associated return shipping costs.
• We are based in Sydney, Australia.


DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

While every order is carefully checked, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will gladly resolve this at our cost.

Please contact us within 3 days of delivery at hello@veritythelabel.com.au and include clear photos for reference.


ORDER CANCELLATIONS

As our products are made-to-order and often sent directly into production, we are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed.


INCORRECT ADDRESS, RETURNED MAIL & LOST PACKAGES

Shipping details are the customer’s responsibility. Please carefully review your address before completing checkout.

If an incorrect address is entered, please contact us within 24 hours. We will do our best to amend the order where possible, however this cannot be guaranteed.

• Returned packages can be reshipped at the customer’s expense.
• Packages marked as delivered but not received must be followed up directly with Australia Post or the relevant courier.
• Verity The Label is not liable for parcels once marked as delivered by the carrier.
